SIG ANTOINETTE INDOOR SCALE 


this is the kit that I bought years ago,
Litespan, lots of Balsa, plan and.....glue

THE RESULT BY NOW
attention, I used needles to fix the complete tail and rudder part to each other this needle runds through the rudder, through the elevator in to the mainstructure. this will come in handy later on!

glue all the alu micro tubes at the correct spot ( for the rigging)


My personal servo mod, I placed both servo's completely horizontal( jep both) normally one goes down in the frame for rudder but htis setup is more scale and lifelike (but also time consuming)

I made a tiny hole and only the servohead comes out, this leaves the topstructure a lot stronger and nice finish

this was my first setup, i changed it later on the road to brushless

so both servo's ( for elevator and rudder are horizontal positioned)
and this is my rigging  for the controls, I go completely through the frame) again not easy but doable



here it hits the wood
so i placed a plastic guide a the sweet spot!




Yeah the covering!!!     Lite-span, some love it some hate it, I believe that you just have to learn to work with it,  playing with the correct temp and pressure and glue, 
but you can reach nice and realistic results once you get the hang of it.

 actually, I even did the tailsection in complete part, its one sail!

Remenber that needle that runs through the structure, this is where it comes in handy,
 I marked the spot where it needs to be positioned to be perfect 
here you can see the needles that come out of the rudderbottom
just slide it in and done

Radiatortank build up





My very basic setup( in the mean time brushless)



esc setup

cutting kevlar line is not simple, just add some superglue and let it cure, now it cuts like paper



fixing the servocontrol horns to the controlwheels ( make sure that you checked the 90° position before glueing.







preparation for the rigging system




















this tank is not 100% true scale , but i will use it to make sure that the wings dont flex to mutch( 
place a plstic grommet on the bottem, like that i can always remove/replace the centre mast
 so fas ,so good,



working on some landinggear details

I can open and close this clamp, like that i am able to secure the rigging, hook it in, and slide it on the centre mast, it even looks like it is impossible to open it which is a nice detail

Wing Warping Project,
this is def not foreseen in the basic setup, now the real one had it , so let's go







the kevlarwire runs crosslinked through the fuselage


in the mean time some more landinggear rigging details


kevlar wire for wingwarping needs to be black

chinese black ink is perfect!

the wingwarping servo will be covered by the first Fueltank, it will request so time to do so nut i would be nice if it would be completely hided

Okay thats done, now we need to add the metal reinforcement before I can place the fueltanks 







Working out some structural details, metal reinforcement from the fuselage

and this is how we i do this, first i glue the basic plate (already cut to size and correct corner)

now cut out the details from inner side

front radiator tank needs a 1.5 mm metal finisch


and now the copper rigging
